This Supernova had me boiling last night after my Chrome malfunctioned and I almost lost this one when pressing back on chrome out of single exposures. I hadnt even takin a screen shot of it in Survey. @dstn was my Super Hero tonight by helping me get to the place in space from the Single Exposures page. I’m such a noob.

Definitely an unreported candidate. We are looking forward to report these candidates you’ve found recently.

Cheers,

Thank you! I really appreciate that you are reporting them for me. I would love to know how reporting is done. I wouldnt mind reporting them myself. This is an fantastic learning experience. Legacy Survey is one of the most amazing things I have ever been a part of. I am exceptionally shocked that there are not thousands of people on here every day. I post to Instagram about my finds and I get more likes on the discussion here than I do Instagram which is a shame. I have been sharing the Legacy Survey with as many people as I can. I have written it on receipt paper several times at the counter for the cashiers quite a bit. If I can find these on the survey, I truly believe anyone can. We live in an incredible time.

I am sorry but this one is discovered by me a couple of years ago and already reported in the TNS at 2020-12-09.

Oh i see now. For some reason the TNS was acting up for the past few days.

It is truly a beautiful Supernova remnant isnt it? Stunner of a galaxy as well. Pleasure to see it! When I saw how many you had found the other day I had wondered how it had been missed. Where two or more agree! I still plan to paint its portrait. I have two other SN candidates on here hopefully you hadnt reported them. I had also wondered whether you were holding back reporting others. What you have accomplished is absolutely incredible. Even being the second or third person to see such incredible things is an honor. There’s a lot of sky I dont see on the map that I’m excited to see.
