I went crosseyed trying to make heads or tails of the single images comparing the b&w and color in different orientations, but this big red spot shows up faintly. I dont believe it’s a cosmic ray or an artifact. maybe a nebula

I think it might actually be an asteroid! If you scroll down to the single z-band image that covers it and hit the “Direct link to JPL query” link, it should eventually show you the result of looking it up in the asteroid database – its name is “9770 Discovery (1993 EE)”…
