I am interested in making threads for certain objects, like some eye-dazzling objects in the surveys.
We can create:
threads of interesting galaxies by their morphology: (eg, ring galaxies)
threads of astronomical objects (eg, star clusters, nebulae)
threads of astronomical transients (eg, supernovae) or solar system objects (eg, asteroids, comets)
threads of objects sorted by catalogue (eg, NGC objects, UGC objects, Messier, Caldwell, etc.)
Note: We would like to know where the object is located, and what it’s name is. Before including objects in your thread, please remember to include the object’s name, the RA and Dec numbers, and/or a link to the sky viewer. Be sure to leave an image for the exact object you’ve posted.
