In the viewer-dev version there is a “dr11 early” layer that covers a lot more unexplored areas - assuming this is a future release to be expected

Yes, it may take a while for DR11 to be ready - the things about it is that images less than would not show.
I am in absolute disbelief am what I’m looking at right now. The data expands out a lot. It borders the DECAPS2 survey!!

Yep, the DR11 coverage will be quite extensive – nearly all the sky south of Dec=+30, and Galactic latitude |b| > 10.
These maps don’t have coordinates labeled but they’re in RA,Dec with Galactic latitudes marked (not sure, maybe |b| = 20 and 15?).

You can tell there are a lot more stars in those images. I guess they are closer to the galactic plane. Thanks for sharing
