I had been taking a break from compiling spectral class K0 stars but I believe collating them is importatant to the search for extra terrestrial life. I recently posted a K class star that has a radio frequency eminating from its companion star. I have found that K class stars importantly K0 Goldilocks Stars congregate and often have G class main sequence stars nearby as well. This K0 is no exception the one below is a K2 and I recognized them on sight along with the open cluster of them. I knew the top one was a K0 and the bottom one was close, maybe it was a good guess, but I made that assumption because the top one had more blue. many of these stars here have no spectral class listed in Simbad, but I believe several are potentially more favorable to life than our own star.
Two nearby stars potentially more habitable to life than our own Sun. the largest in the picture looks like a K class star. I believe it is likely a K0 or K1.
I think it is possible that this star in the middle is labled incorrectly in Simbad as a spectral class K5. K5 stars tend to have more red around them, shown as a red halo in the viewer. I have posted a few K5’s and seen many more and I think it is possible that the big star to the upper left is close enough and a Carbon star which tend to be much redder, is bleeding over on the spectral classification. I say that at the risk of only being wrong myself. but I think it is worth mentioning.
