Is this just an image bug or something else?
That seems to be the same effect as the previous post - a very bright star whose “bleed trail” hits the edge of the chip. If you click on the map, in the pop-up menu there is a “Single exposures” link - eg, Legacy Survey Sky Browser - and if you scroll down to exposure 131875 (in the “z” band - red in these images) - you’ll see what has happened. Most of the fan has been “masked out” by the image processing software, but it looks like some was missed.
