Looks like an HII region of Ionized Hydrogen in this distant galaxy. Stellar Nursery, nothing but the G in Simbad

Yeah I suppose it is. “Jellyfishing” structures in galaxies are so interesting. I am not sure what consitutes a jellyfish galaxy other than visual similarities. this one being at an angle it is hard to tell if it is just another spiral portion. Jellyfishing tends to look like drag is influencing its structure and beyond the plane of the disc in my mind, whether that is a rule or not I’m not sure. there is a lot of diversity in Galaxy morphology so We catalog onward.
Yes, this is a confirmed jellyfish galaxy named PFO2016 JO206. It has been observed by the Hubble Space Telescope

how about that HII stellar nursery with the ionized hydrogen?
What a great time to be a stargazer eh! if only the hubble image had the same colorful imagery that LS does. it is quite different looking. I hope one day We can view the entire sky with such great detail
