Gravitational Lens Arc and Cluster Environment at RA 135.0328

Hello team,

Reporting a distinct gravitational lens arc candidate and complex cluster field at RA 135.0328, DEC 3.1793.

Visual Profile: The primary central target is a massive elliptical galaxy exhibiting a broad stellar halo. Directly above the core, a faint, curved green crescent arc is visible, pointing toward a strong lensing alignment with a background system. A bright star reflection artifact is noted on the western flank.

Requesting science team review for potential lensing confirmation or dark matter mass mapping.

Hi,

If you mean the green streak at 12 o’clock, that is unfortunately just a cosmic ray, which can be seen in the individual exposures:

Thank you for checking the single-exposure frames and clarifying, Dustin! Appreciate you taking the time to inspect the artifact origin. Moving on to scan the next coordinate blocks.
