I had posted the carbon star in a comment to another recent carbon star thread and saw that the next star over was a beautiful spectral sequence G8 and the spectroscopic binary next to it has a G9 those are both quite close to a K0 which I found one nearby which caused me to look around. favorable indeed to have a G8 favorable to life and a Carbon star neighbor.
