The galaxy looks perfect. I have seen what I suspect is lensing around the central nuclei of similar typed galaxies, lensing its own stars. I had discussed it last year I believe, in relation to another galaxy. I wonder if this blue ring phenomenon is actually caused by gravitational lensing.
