I had run across at least one other known carbon star before and maybe a few unknown ones. this is a brighter green than the others. cool star type!

Here is a carbon star I found yesterday as well and it is also orange red. I took a screenshot of its Simbad result and when I pressed back it went to the green carbon star. your comment reminded me I had its coordinates. 200.3093 -74.4405 V* T Mus - Carbon Star. Incredibly interesting stars!

If I can recall correctly someone found a carbon star with jets or nebulas on both ends. They are calling this a new discovery, will have to pull it up
