that’s not lensing
Tough to say from legacy. Would need higher res imaging to tell what it is.

brightness/contrast setting change makes it appear as some sort of odd ‘interaction’ @Ed-In-The-Couds

Interaction between what though? If its not lensing, it has to be far in the foreground of the cluster based on the color/apparent size, so where are the interacting galaxies?

This image shows it’s too odd for some sort of gravitational lens; the two objects above are too different in shape so I’d say it isn’t lensing; looks like an ‘odd CR’

Ehhh, you can get some pretty weird shapes/configurations with cluster lensing.

‘probably’ not lensing, perhaps debris within the cluster ~still deserves posting
