Weight and DQ images

Hi, single image cutouts now has weight and DQ images. Can you please tell me what they are?

eg

Edit: Weight seems to be a colour inversion?

The “weight” maps are estimates of the 1/variance, or statistical weight. These look like inverses of the images because we include Poisson uncertainty in the variance – due to counting statistics, a pixel with 100 counts has an intrinsic uncertainty of about +/- 10, so bright pixels have relatively lower weight.

The “DQ” (= data quality) maps are produced by the image calibration software and flag areas that might be problematic – cosmic rays, bad pixels, satellite trails, and so on.

Thank you, Dustin. I will share the information.
