Awesome! Some areas are just crazy

I was wondering if the arc might be a bow shock from a high velocity star / YSO, but according to GAIA the proper motion isn’t that high

Ofcourse the distance from us to that object plays a role too in this, but I have no knowledge or experience with that, experts may jump in on that

Looks a bit less clear cut in the real images (the model makes it in to a much cleaner arc, but I dont trust the model). I suspect it may be a reflection nebula.

Vtan is only ~16 km/s, so i’d agree its likely not a bow shock. Unless it has some insane radial velocity, but even then, we’d be seeing it face on.
