I think it is incredible how much is missing in the Hubble image and vice versa. The green portion surrounding it in Legacy are absent in Hubble.

agree ~ the DR9 image is far more beautiful

It looks like maybe that Hubble image is way zoomed in / cropped – are the little red nodes at the end of the axis the same as the cyan nodes in the LS images oriented at 2 o’clock and 8 o’clock? If so, then the blue and green wisps are out of frame – as you say, too bad!, since they look so great!
