This one mad real! Polar Ring

I think this is more likely to be shells of stars thrown out by sequential interactions as the galaxies eventually merged. There are lots like this with multiple shells of ejected stars (including the one you previously posted as “perfect sphere”). I believe (although I am not an expert) that a “Polar Ring Galaxy” has a distinct and quite well defined structure, with just one ring aligned (close to) orthogonal to the main axis of the galaxy. One of the resident experts can probably add more.
