This "galaxy" is actually several stars?

It’s labeled in DeCALS DR3 as one galaxy, but I think it looks more like two stars.

Strangely, the SDSS images seem to show more detail for these objects than DECaLS. (Poor seeing for DECaLS? Is the DECaLS image saturating?)

Here the bottom blob actually appears to be more like 3 stars. Crazy!

Nicely spotted! I bet you’re right. This is in Stripe 82, so the SDSS web site shows the best of dozens of exposures, while the DECaLS imaging is averaging over half a dozen exposures per band.
