Strange transient - not in other surveys

This doesn’t look like a typical asteroid signature, but maybe because of the overlap with the galaxy that alters its colour?

Right, the color is odd for an asteroid; it seems to be cyan = both green (r) and blue (g) filters. I wonder if it could be a supernova.

SN was my first reaction, but the thing’s huge. Maybe SLSN?

The problem is that it is difficult to get data (fits files etc.) from HSC. This makes it difficult to investigate whether it is actually a good supernova candidate, or whether it meets the conditions to be classified as a candidate supernova. I also have several candidates in HSC.
