Yep, that’s a 4-th magnitude star – you could see it with your own eyes – so it’s extremely bright in these sensitive cameras, so you see faint reflections and other artifacts from the cameras. For example, the halos in the top image are due to multiple reflections off of different lens surfaces in the corrector. All objects produce reflections like this, but it’s only for very bright ones that the amount of reflected light is enough to see.
