This galaxy reminds me of a star forming nebula of SN1987A with the stars forming in the shockwave. I think there is a similarity between the star forming regions of ring galaxies and the formation of new stars from SN. I wonder if it’s possible if some ring galaxies are being blown apart in a similar fashion.
