Purple object's

I’m curious for the bundled purple ones u see. Can you tell what those are? Thank you.

These are stars – an open cluster. These are quite bright stars – the dark squares in the middle of the stars are from saturation – they max out our detectors. The funny colors come from the way the light is spread out differently in the different exposures that we mosaic together to make the color images. (The red, green, and blue channels are taken at different times with different atmospheric conditinons.) I would guess these are mostly quite hot young stars – if you look in the SDSS layer, they are quite blue, which usually means burning hot!
