Possible sn not visible in SDSS

It is actually there in SDSS, but very faint, almost in the noise.

Faint red things not visible in SDSS are likely to be brown dwarf stars or perhaps high-redshift QSOs. The SDSS images I’m showing here are g,r,i bands, while the MzLS+BASS and DECaLS images are g,r,z, so we’re more sensitive to red objects.

(this one doesn’t seem to fade over the 2-month span of images we have in MzLS, so it’s probably a brown dwarf)
