NGC 7241 has an odd object here

I was originally going to say it’s probably a different galaxy in front of this galaxy, but then I looked in Simbad and it said all of this is in NGC 7241 and just are HII regions. If that’s true then who knows what’s going on in the core of this galaxy.

Looks like a minor merger event?

Some sort of shell (half arc dark band) structure at 2 o’clock region

Possible tidal stream at 7 & 11 o’clock

(Base point = core)

it looks like a starburst galaxy directly behind the middle of an edge-on galaxy

Could be a target for the proposals.
