Lensed galaxies I believe

This area seems to have a decent number of eliptical galaxies. Those two deep red dots looked pretty far away. I’d love to know the number of light years.

Don’t think so, it might be some background galaxies causing it.

Not far from your find south-southeast looks like a good candidate

I think those two red dots are actually a cosmic ray hit! If you look in the single exposures link (Legacy Survey Sky Browser), and scroll down to the z-band (red) exposures, it looks like exposure 580786 has a cosmic ray hit matching this location.
