Hello. I am the new account of @William_Snell. I lost my account information and login due to a company computer update. I think I was at Trust Level 2 before. If you would mind updating it?

It looks like I can merge the accounts using the admin dashboard – would you like me to do that?
No. Thank you for your responses and upgrading my trust level. ![]()
Hello Wiliam. It’s good to have you back. ![]()
Thank you. I was trying to set up my account to what I had last time.
Hello all,
I am currently doing a research posting at a university. If anyone has any questions on any area of physics that they would like an answer to, I have the free time available to hunt down a professor/student in that area to ask the question to. Any condmat/materials questions will be particularly easy to find an answer to as this is where I am working.
By the way, I can answer some questions for anybody who asks anybody. You don’t have to ask an astronomer.
Thanks for the offer Niko
Bad news, I missed the alignment of the moon with Messier 4 and Antares.
A storm formed over my area, near the time. Heres a photo on stellarium

I just posted an extraordinary JWST system in Science over at the Zoo

So. I was going to post this over on the Voowerpje Hunt thread because of a possible candidate I found, but when I logged in to zooniverse, I was noticing that it was very slow. I posted a comment over on Talk. Tomorrow morning when I logged into Zooniverse about 11:00 I saw that there the whole Zooniverse Talk platform was flooded with thousands of pages of spam and phishing discussions on the board. (Sure someone hacked zooniverse with bots and a lag machine. I sent an e-mail to contact(at)zooniverse.org and got this reply. "We are aware of these spam posts. We have deleted these.and are continuing to investigate. I also posted this thread on Talk at
Is it me or Zooniverse is slow?, and with a matter of 12 hours, there were lots of replies by various users including the zooniverse team. I also reported the spamming on under Spam discussion invading Talk and I saw this.
Because of Zooniverse recieving lots of spam and phishing discussions on Zooniverse Talk and several projects throughout the website, all users are no longer allowed to post any comments on Zooniverse due to hackers gaining access.
SO i decide that I post a voorwerp candidate here, and whenever they let users comment again, then I will post it on the thread

Again, Zooniverse is slow and unresponsive.
Meteorite collision with the moon was so bright that it was seen from Earth

I’m planning a trip to Ohio for fall break. I may share some pics during my trip!
also I’d like to share that I am a big fan of Galaxy Zoo website, so I decide to colorise the image of 3C348 from the ZooGems proposal (also using LegacySurvey images) using my favourite online tool Pixlr
Kinda dissapointing that they usually not respond (only except for questions), so hopefully I would show respect for these hard tasktaking.
Jupiter is SO BRIGHT, holy cow!
And it’s only about to get a bit more brighter as we approach opposition of Jupiter at start of November this year ![]()
Booked a front seat for the 2023 Solar Eclipse about to happen.
Took lots of photos of the “Ring of Fire” in Texas and are edited with Pixlr due to saturational issues
In our area right now the moon is barely touching the Sun, but in Texas has been dimming very rapidly. The temperature just cooled and the sky is dark dark blue. This was a bit of a partial eclipse after

Had finished creating my homemade eclipse sunglasses and worked, but imaging it is difficult.
