Switch to legacy surveys dr9 images and the black holes are gone

Yes, the “resid” layer is the “image” minus the “model” layer. Since the “model” is made out of very simple elliptical models of galaxies, they don’t do a good job of explaining large, bright galaxies, so the residuals are large (both positive and negative).
