Interesting object

This is a fairly bright star – they saturate the detectors, and then the image processing software does confusing things… for example, the core of the star is saturated in all bands, so those saturated pixels get flagged and ignored, so the bright core gets set to value zero. Then as different bands are saturated or not you get different primary colors. The green line to the left is a “bleed trail” – the pixels saturate so much that their charge spills out into the next pixel.
