Interesting object

It looks like a gravitational lens arc on one side. No counter arc.
There is a red star in the way
X-ray source in the middle according to SIMBAD
nothing much in NED, X-rays , galaxy clusters
no mention of lens in SIMBAD

Sorry, can you be more specific
Vizier has lots of entries and a quick glance didn’t show anything,

It’s in the SuGOHI catalog (https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-5?-ref=VIZ6446f9f1169d69&-out.add=.&-source=J/A%2BA/642/A148/sugohi&recno=1420)

cheers…I thought it wouldn’t have evaded detection…

thanks for that :+1:

Very often when searching in Vizier it is most helpful to select the type of object you wish to search for in the Vizier dialogue box on the right hand side. There are a handful of entries for this one. It is in SuGOHI, KiDS BEXGO and one other one from 2021 I can’t remember

Ah so you can refine the search that way?
