Goodday! this is a star in the Milky Way galaxy. most objects with rayettes or color bars eminating from them are stars in our Milky Way galaxy. However not all stars have these bars a combination of either size, brightness or distance or type. White Dwarfs tend to be blue orbs on the viewer. I hope you are enjoying it. I noticed that Simbad wasnt an option when I clicked the star through your link. most often when clicking an object it gives you the option to look up in Simbad which is a global database of astronomy data like type of object and catalog number or name of star. you may want to reenter the viewer from another individuals link or through a search engine link to the viewer.
this ^^^ is the Simbad result. I took a screen shot of the RA & Dec from your link and opened the viewer through bing and typed in the RA and Dec coordinates in the upper left and went straight to it, clicked the star and selected Look Up in Simbad. the results in Simbad dont always look like this, often a list of objects in the area.
