telescope lenses are not gravitational lenses bud

If you turn on the “DECam Footprint”, you’ll see those red lines all line up with edges of chips in the camera. It’s gone in later DRs

Oh yes I am sorry, I thought gravitational lenses are something to do with the telescope. Gravitational lenses are galaxies warped by another one’s gravity. Right?

Yes, either individual galaxies, or galaxy clusters, can be gravitational lenses. (Any mass can, but those are the most common visible lenses)
