Please, could any expert explain (or try to do it…) this amazing object ?

I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I believe that polar rings are created by mergers where the trajectory of the minor galaxy motion is almost orthogonal to the plane of the major galaxy. The momentum imparted to some of the stars through the gravitational interaction between the two merging galaxies causes those stars to orbit the final merged galaxy in a different plane to the rest of the stars, producing the ring.
