What is happening in this galaxy?

Welcome! It is likely exactly as Ed says. The large spot below is a galaxy and so is the dot above. The bottom one is clearly deformed (the core/orange bit is not in the centre and the spiral arms are irregular and damaged) so it must be experiencing some force. This force could either by the gravitational interaction with the other galaxy above or ram pressure stripping (RPS) as the galaxy moves.
