How to generate cutouts from a csv file?

Hello! I’m searching DES DR1 via the Legacy Sky Viewer and am wondering how to generate cutouts around a particular ra, dec position? I have a csv dataset which I upload and am able to see circles around the datapoints, but I would like to download square cutouts around those positions (ex. as .fits files).

Can you try to plug the RA and Dec values in the ra and dec columns like this?

www.legacysurvey.org/viewer/cutout.jpg?ra=[RA]&dec=[DEC]&layer=[LAYER]&pixscale=1.00
www.legacysurvey.org/viewer/cutout.fits?ra=[RA]&dec=[DEC]&layer=[LAYER]&pixscale=1.00

There is an online site where you can host your cutouts with a simple list of RA,Dec lists (tab or comma separated) by generating LS and DSS2 cutouts?

You’re amazing thank you the top link was exactly what I needed!! Just wrote a script to automate getting cutouts for the whole dataset

I just found this thing randomly and I found it useful for finding interesting objects. I have used it also as a gallery of known and new polar-ring galaxy candidates!

I think this will be published in 2025 or 2026 I assume
