How is it so blue?

It just seems like it is too far away to be that blue.

To my eye, that looks like it could be a point source – eg, if you look around at nearby objects, many (including some Gaia stars) are about the shape or sharpness. That means it could even be a blue star. But it could also be a quasar, which can also be blue even at high redshift!

I was gonna suggest a starburst galaxy because quasars are luminous and look like stars when viewed optically. There is no designation in SIMBAD and NED about a quasar (there is no data for this object)

Now I just gotta know what it is. It looks blue that is the data so far. Knowing their is no data is data in of itself. New and blue!
