Thatās the residuals layer (the models havenāt done a great job so thereās some residual junk). The āringsā arenāt real.
Youāre viewing this in the āresidualsā layer, which is I believe when the ellipse halos were removed. In the original images, there appears to be a pair of overlapping galaxies. I also copied on the Zooniverse link.
