Filament from a recently discovered supernova remnant

Recently Becker et al. 2021 discovered the supernova remnant (SNR) G249.5+24.5, called ‘Hoinga’. Fresen et al. 2021 report UV and H-alpha filaments for G249.2+24.4, which is consistent with the Hoinga SNR. Look for figure 8 and 9 in Fresen et al.

I did download DECam g- and r-band images. With SAO Image DS9 I applied a gaussian smooth of 5 and then I combined them with Photoshop (g-band = blue, r-band = red). It is only a tiny part of the remnant, but this filament on the left is part of it.
