Voorwerps are permanent , supernovae are usually lasts a few months if the exposure is taken during the SN.
This one might be a SN – if I look in the single exposures, it’s clearly only visible in one of the g-band exposures. I checked the JPL links and it’s not a known space rock, but I think it’s bright enough that it would be known. Unfortunately there aren’t any other exposures close in time where we could see the SN fade. I didn’t try looking it up in the known SN lists though!

I looked it up in the TNS for you and I got nothing within my search, I guess it’s probably unreported
I posted this one a few days ago. Hoping to get some info on it as well. I saw nothing in Simbad or TNS. Legacy Survey Sky Browser 1
To me it looks just like the aqua nova that I ran acoss the other day. But it looks like possobly just a star in single exposures. Or a really long SN. With the upcoming reoccurring nova about to happen near us. I just thought it is possible.
Any idea how I could figure out how far away this galaxy is?
