Very cool! This is the Bear Claw galaxy (NGC 2537, a lot of very interesting history here actually). It is a blue compact dwarf galaxy.

SIMBAD lists this as an interacting galaxy however a recent study showed that it is not interacting with the galaxy(IC2233) it was long thought to be interacting with as they lie at different distances. Even SIMBAD isn’t always perfect :slight_smile:
