It seems to be a binary star but from NED I found this is a galaxy known in WISE catalogue.

WISEA J012629.38+000601.3

Amazing. It has the brightness of a nearby star

This is in fact a binary system. Probably early M dwarfs. At about 300-350 pc judging by the Gaia parallaxes.

Not sure why WISE has it classed as a galaxy.

Only ~40 mas/y so I guess at that distance its possible it struggled to resolve their pm and based it on the shape :man_shrugging:
